Can I just do this on my own?

While many key leaders are able to identify the presence of a problem, and many know its source, an outside voice can be more effective at addressing issues for two reasons:

  • Authority. Consultants carry the weight of authority in the eyes of most team members, and are viewed as "professionals" due to their focus on regularly addressing related topics.

  • Variety. There is a powerful element to hearing a fresh voice that teaches you new concepts while also reinforcing and expanding on those you were already aware of.

How do I tell my team we are bringing someone in?

The best approach is to present the consulting session as an investment in your team members, which is exactly what it is. Everyone wants to be part of a winning team, even if their attitudes sometimes say otherwise. The Momentum Group provides practical and powerful interactions that leave participants viewing our time together as an investment in themselves and each other.

Does anyone feel "singled out" in your trainings?

We are often engaged to address specific issues, but have perfected the art of doing so in nonthreatening but effective ways. While we would never "single anyone out," we are also able to deliver focused solutions to specific problem areas.
